Magnetek’s cell-site on wheels (COW) is the ideal
solution for a mobile communications network
deployment solution. Magnetek's COW is the most versatile
and complete mobile
cell site solution available on the market. When
expansion of a service area or
increased network capacity is needed, this
completely self-contained unit is
ready to deploy on a moment's notice.
Magnetek’s COW is engineered to allow for quick
mobilization for a number of wireless communications
situations. The COW can be towed whereever a mobile cell site
is needed such as natural or man-made disaster
locations to restore communications, or to special
event areas to boost network capacity. The COW can
also be used in the interim while a permanent cell
site is being built, repaired, or replaced.
Magnetek's standard COW configuration comes complete with trailer, 60’ mast,
20kVA generator with 45 gallon fuel tank, mast
support structure (crows nest), and AC load center.
Other standard configurations include 100' mast or Magnetek's FlexSite
walk-in enclosure mounted on the trailer. The FlexSite is used to
house radio equipment, DC power plant,
batteries and other
communications or electronic equipment in an indoor
environment.
